About & methodology
We show indicative crypto prices in local currencies for people outside the US and Europe.
Where the numbers come from
Coin prices in US dollars come from CoinGecko, which aggregates trades across hundreds of exchanges. We convert them with daily mid-market exchange rates from open.er-api.com. Live figures on each page update every few minutes.
What the rate does not include
Exchange fees, spreads, bank charges and P2P premiums are not included. In countries where US dollars are hard to buy, local crypto prices are often higher than the mid-market rate.
